Proposals for Art Exhibition

The Center for Health Discovery and Well-Being is actively accepting proposals for exhibition.
 
The Center is interested in displaying art that represents images or interpretations of health as viewed across cultures and geographic regions.  Representations of individuals, practices, environments and events are all desirable.  Selected works will be displayed along with their accompanying descriptions and artists credits on a rotating basis.  The viewing audience will include faculty and staff who participate in Center activities as well as university officials and guests.

Proposal Process:

For internal Emory employees, staff and students:

  • Brief statement describing the piece, medium, materials involved, installation techniques, amount of space required, maintenance that may be required. No more than 2 pages.
  • Please provide a jpeg or other electronic image of the work along with your email and phone contact information.

For external artists:

  • Artist resume / exhibition list
  • Brief statement describing the piece, medium, materials involved, installation techniques, amount of space required, maintenance that may be required. No more than 2 pages.
  • Please provide a jpeg or other electronic image of the work along with your email and phone contact information.
  • Photos of previous work (12 max). Please clearly label all slides with your name.

Assistance with Costs

The Center for Health Discovery may provide exhibiting artists with some assistance towards the shipping and installation costs of the work to be shown.
